Muscle in a Month Day 28

Today should have been the last day of my Muscle in a Month challenge...and the Elimination Diet. However, I got mildly concussed playing football and decided against an intense resistance workout. So my 28th and last session will be tomorrow. After that I will have seven days of rest and recuperation so I'll report back in a week! I have to confess I did feel sorry for myself and had a few puddings at lunchtime

Food diary 01/03/2009

Morning:
- Porridge oats and raisins
- 1 glass or cranberry juice

Afternoon:
- Roast pork, roast potatoes and vegetables
- 1 bowl of trifle
- 2 slices of treacle tart
- 1 glass of orange squash
- 1 apple

Evening:
- Roast turkey and vegetables
- Baked potato and baked beans
- 1 apple
- 1 bowl of porridge
- 1 probiotic yogurt
- 3 Ryvita with butter and raisins
- 1 mug of fruit tea

Muscle in a Month Day 27

I had a really busy day today but still managed to get my workout in. It was a great session and I felt really tired afterwards. I then had to referee I football match so my legs were aching by the evening I let myself go in the eating department. I had a few small cakes in the afternoon and a slice of apple pie and more cake later in the evening.

Food diary 28/02/2009

Morning:
- Porridge oats made with soya milk and water
- 1 probiotic yogurt
- 1 glass of fresh cranberry juice

Afternoon:
- 2 sardines
- Plate of chips
- 2 flapjacks
- 2 small cakes

Evening:
- Chicken and avacado salad
- 1 slice of apple pie
- 2 slices of sponge cake
- 1 mug of red bush tea
- 1 glass of organe juice from concentrate

Muscle in a Month Day 26

I ate too many probiotic yogurt today, so much so that my digestive system can't cope with all the friendly bacteria and could probably do with a bit of unfriendly bacteria. Hopefully a mug of peppermint tea will sort it out.

Food diary 27/02/2009

Morning:
- Porridge and raisins
- 1 probiotic yogurt
- Banana and peanut butter smoothie made with soya milk
- 1 glass of cranberry juice

Afternoon:
- Baked potato, chips, beans, peas and salad
- Vegetable stir fry
- 1 glass of fresh cranberry juice
- 2 probiotic yogurt's
- Mixed nuts and raisins
- 1 bowl of porridge and raisins

Evening:
- Steak and ale stew and vegetables
- Baked potato and baked beans
- 2 apples
- 1 raw carrot
- 1 packet of ready salted crisps
- 1 Ryvita with peanut butter
- 2 probiotic yogurt's
- 1 mug of peppermint tea

Muscle in a Month Day 25

Today's session was short and sweet - a chest overload! Nutrition wise I ensured I had a lot of protein both before and after my workout.

Food diary 26/02/2009

Morning:
- Porridge and raisins
- 3 fried eggs
- 1 probiotic yogurt
- 1 glass of grape juice

Afternoon:
- Baked potato, tuna and corned beef
- Pork chop and vegetables
- 1 apple
- Mixed nuts and fruit
- Organic chunky vegetables soup
- 1 glass of fresh cranberry juice

Evening:
- 1 mug of peppermint tea
- Vegetable stir fry and basmati rice
- 2 probiotic yogurts
- 1 glass of fresh cranberry juice
